"We are so proud to have bred him... What a champion"

Lim’s Kosciuszko has clinched his third Lion City Cup, reinforcing his impressive career in Singapore racing.

The achievement is especially significant as Lim’s Kosciuszko was bred at Trelawney Stud, which recently won the NZTBA Breeder of the Year 2024 award over the weekend.

This accolade underscores the high standards and success of Trelawney’s breeding program. Cherry Taylor from Trelawney expressed her pride, saying, “Lim’s Kosciuszko contributed to us being named Breeders of the Year last night. We are just so proud of him. What a champion. This is the third time he’s won the Lion City Cup, a Group 1 race. He is truly a champion and Singapore’s greatest horse. We are so proud to have bred him. Well done to the connections.”

Trainer Daniel Meagher also shared his excitement to the TNP Straits Times, stating, “Winning the Lion City Cup three times is an incredible feat, and it’s a testament to the horse’s talent and the hard work of everyone involved. Lim’s Kosciuszko continues to exceed our expectations, and we’re thrilled to see him achieve this milestone.”
